Multi Million Pound Fibre Laser Investments for 5750 Components

Knowsley based contract manufacturing specialists 5750 Components have recently announced multi million pound investments in to new machinery including the new Adige LT8.10 Fibre Tube laser and the TruLaser 5040 Fibre Laser.


The new Adige LT8.10 Fibre Tube Laser will allow 5750 components to rapidly cut tubes, box sections or open sections up to 8.5m in length and 220mm diameter. The Fibre Tube laser is also equipped with a 3D tilting head which makes it possible to do (± 45°) chamfers and other complex cutting patterns including weld prep cuts in thick walled tubes.


The 4m x 2m TruLaser 5040 is one of the fastest laser cutting machines in the UK and has the capability to cut stainless steel up to 40mm, mild steel and aluminium up to 25mm. New capabilities also now include the ability to cut copper and brass up to 10mm. The Trulaser 5040 is equipped with the automated LiftMaster, promoting the quickest process cycles and round the clock production.
