News: 5750 Components is acquired by WEC Group

WEC Group, a Darwen based engineering company has acquired 5750 Components which employs 20 staff from its facility in Liverpool.

5750 Components which was established in 1994 was one of the first laser cutting companies in the UK.

Wayne Wild, Commerial Director of WEC Group says “"This is an exciting time for the Group. The purchase of the company supports the Group's expansion strategy which includes the introduction of a new 26,500 purpose-built facility on Junction Street in Darwen." This is a positive move for the North West, the strategic partnership between WEC Group and 5750 Components will assist in expanding the service offering of both companies within their own regions, UK and internationally.
